Oct 31, 2023 (newstodate): Charter operations are a key part of Norwegian's business case, and the carrier has now secured the extension of its contract with its long-standing key charter customer.
   Norwegian has thus been contracted to continue operating charter flights for TUI during the upcoming winter and summer seasons, under a program comprising flights on behalf of TUI from Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund, Alesund, Bodo, Evenes, Tromso, Torp/Sandefjord and Oslo in Norway. In Sweden Norwegian will fly from Karlstad, Kalmar and Stockholm, and in Denmark from Copenhagen to destinations across Europe.
   TUI is Norwegian’s single largest charter customer, and Norwegian will fly 70 percent of TUI’s charter operations.
   The cooperation between Norwegian and TUI stretches back to 2010, albeit then launched by the earlier Norwegian that filed for protection in December 2020 pending restructuring under new management and ownership.
