Oct 19, 2023 (newstodate): The Latvian ACMI and charter operator SmartLynx has extended its cooperation with Lufthansa Tehnik for aircraft maintenance.
    The two partners have signed new multiple-year agreements comprising maintenance services on SmartLynx' Airbus A320 family as well as landing gear services for the Airbus A320, A321 and A330 fleets.
   Starting from November this year, SmartLynx will see Lufthansa Technik providing more than 25 C-Checks on its A320 family aircraft.
   And from November, SmartLynx will be provided with comprehensive landing gear services, including overhauls for Airbus A320, A321 and A330 aircraft, exchange landing gears and potential loans depending on individual needs.
   In the fleet of SmartLynx and SmartLynx Malta are now 62 aircraft, making the carrier the largest in the Baltic region.
