Jan 18, 2023 (newstodate):  Swiss is preparing for a busy summer 2023 schedule with more flights, new destinations - and a sustained need for extra aircraft capacity.
   As "a temporary solution", Swiss will extend its current wet-lease contract with Latvia's airBaltic to cover also the coming summer '23 schedule.
   In August 2022, airBaltic landed a wet-lease agreement with Swiss covering the winter 2022/23 schedule. Under the agreement, airBaltic has been allocating six Airbus A220-300 aircraft with airBaltic cockpit and cabin crews for flights on behalf of Swiss on the airline's European route network.
