Jan 06, 2023 (newstodate): As expected, the launch of joint Qatar Airways/Finnair daily flights between Doha and Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki has led to reductions in Qatar's own flight program.
   First, Qatar Airways's own flights from Doha to Helsinki were axed the day before the start of the joint flights on December 15, 2022.  
   Next, from November 8, 2022, flights between Stockholm and Doha were reduced to three weekly rotations, while flights between Copenhagen and Doha were reduced from seven to five weekly rotations from December 19, 2022, planned to dropping further to only four weekly rotations from March 26, 2023.
   According to Qatar Airways, the new slimmed flights program for the three routes will remain also in the coming summer 2023 schedule.
   The program for joint daily flights operated by Finnair under the "strategic partnership" between Qatar Airways and Finnair was launched on November 1, 2022, with flights from Copenhagen and Stockholm, and flights from Helsinki to be added from December 15, 2022.
