Jan 17, 2023 (newstodate): The Dutch regional aircraft leasing company TrueNoord has completed a lessor-to-lessor transaction with Nordic Aviation Capital.
   Comprised by the deal is a batch of eight Embraer E190 and two E175, taking TrueNoord's fleet portfolio to a total of 70 aircraft; half of the aircraft involved are operated by lessees in the USA and Canada with other aircraft lessees in South Africa, also broadening TrueNoord's global coverage.
   For NAC, the sale contributes further to bringing down its fleet; as part of the reconstruction completed in 2022, NAC is slimming its fleet to 390 owned and on-order aircraft, from 480 aircraft plus commitments for another 71 aircraft, totaling 561 units by the end of 2021.
