Jan 16, 2023 (newstodate): The Danish regional aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital has now completed the series of ATR aircraft deliveries to Air Serbia.
   Air Serbia has been building up a fleet of turboprop aircraft to serve regional routes, in January 2022 contracting NAC for lease of six ATR 72-600 aircraft.
   The first aircraft was handed over to Air Serbia in May 2022, and the sixth and last in the series was delivered earlier this month.
   In addition, Air Serbia has also wet-leased an ATR72-600 from the  Romanian carrier Air Connect.
   The six ATR 72-600 have replaced Air Serbia's earlier fleet of smaller and aging ATR aircraft, including three ATR 76-200 delivered to JAT already in 1990, and two ATR 76-500 aircraft.
