Jan 23, 2023 (newstodate): The Aeroflot Group has decided on a name change for its aircraft maintenance company.
Till now operating as A-Technics, the new name is Aeroflot Technics to signal a position as both the provider of the group and a leader in the Russian Federation's aircraft maintenance and repair market.
Aeroflot Technics thus purports to become the largest aircraft maintenance and repair company in Russia and Eastern Europe, providing a full maintenance cycle for all types of aircraft operated by the group's airlines.
Aeroflot Technics is certified to perform maintenance works on aircraft types including Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, Airbus A330, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A320ceo and Superjet 100.
The company operates five hangar complexes at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport and one at Orenburg Airport, with the total capacity of the simultaneous handling of up to 17 aircraft for basic maintenance
Besides, Aeroflot Technics also operates a network of line stations in Russia located in 13 cities including Belgorod, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Saratov, Sochi, Stavropol, Ufa and Khabarovsk.
