Sep 02, 2022 (newstodate): Continuing a truly global career in the airport and aviation business, Danish national Jonny Andersen has been appointed new CEO of Curacao Airport, effective September 1, 2022.
   Mr Andersen comes in after some three years with his airport consulting company AirportWorks; prior to this he served as CEO of Kenya Airport Authority, based at Nairobi, during November 2016-November 2019.
   From August 2012 till November 2016, Mr Andersen was Avinor Director National Airports, after serving with the Latvian carrier airBaltic as Snr VP Ground Operations from May 2006 to July 2012.
   It, however, all started with a career in SAS 1995-2003 in various operational, sales and management positions.
