Sep 26, 2022 (newstodate): The Oslo-based logistics company Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions is deep into logistics in Australia and opening a large new facility adjoining Brisbane Airport.
Moving to the new site slated to open by early 2023 will provide Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions with 6,000 m2 building and 42,000 m2 hardstand area.
The Wallenius Wilhelmsen facility will also include a warehouse and workshop of some 5,500 m2 of Net Lettable Area, a concrete hardstand area of 13,522 m2 and an asphalt hardstand area of 28,478 m2.
In Australia, Wallenius Wilhelmsen is providing logistics solutions to manufacturers in the automotive, rolling machinery, and project cargo industries, with five Technical Services facilities in strategic locations around the country.
A number of companies are clustering around Brisbane Airport, including Australia Post, Toll and Geodis as well as Direct Couriers, DHL, and Bonds Transport.
