Sep 12, 2022 (newstodate): The Norwegian carrier Wideroe has concluded two DeHavilland Dash-8 Q400 aircraft deals with Nordic Aviation Capital.
In one acquisition contract, Wideroe takes in two Q400 aircraft from NAC, and in another contract the carrier enters a lease agreement with NAC for a further three aircraft of the type.
The five new Q400 aircraft will join the fleet of Wideroe's current 10 Dash-8 Q400 aircraft, four Dash-8 300 and 26 Dash-8 100/200 aircraft.
According to NAC's website, the company today has 72 Dash-8 400 aircraft in the books, including 12 aircraft earlier operating for airBaltic that has now started the redelivery process slated to be completed in 2023.
