Sep 21, 2022 (newstodate): The De Havilland Canada Dash 8-200 fleet is crucial to Air Greenland's provision of domestic flights to bind the country together.
   In the fleet are now seven aircraft of this type, serving with the carrier since 2010; but this year the domestic fixed-wing flights have been haunted by adverse weather, issues with aircraft maintenance and AOG as well as unavailability of external capacity for lease, leading to irregularity and frequent cancellations of flights.
   The Board of Air Greenland has now given its green lights to plans for adding one more Dash 8 aircraft to the fleet when a suitable aircraft may be sourced.
