Sep 01, 2022 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's SCAT Airlines is expanding its airline fleet in 2022 with deliveries of new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
   Before the end of this year, the carrier is due to take delivery of nine Boeing 737 MAX aircraft including five Boeing 737 MAX 8 and four MAX 9 aircraft, with the first aircraft already delivered in August 2022.
   The first Boeing 737 MAX for SCAT, acquired on a lease agreement with ALC, was originally to be delivered to Belavia but re-painted and diverted to SCAT instead, as sanctions on Belarus were implemented.
