Sep 6, 2022 (newstodate): According to Silk Road Briefing, the world will see the launch of a new MRO provider in Iran.
   The new enterprise will be established in Iran by Silk Road partners Iran, China and India, offering maintenance and repair work on primarily western-manufactured aircraft.
   The decision follows on an agreement between Iran and Russia announced in July 2022 regarding provision and manufacturing of Iranian-made aircraft parts to Russia in defiance of the western sanctions on the two countries.
