Sep 28, 2022 (newstodate): A steadfast provider of seafood cargo uplift from Norway, Ethiopian Airlines Cargo is adding new flights to China from Oslo Airport.
With the first operation on September 27, 2022, the carrier is now offering a weekly flight from Oslo to Guangzhou in Southern China with Boeing 777-200F aircraft on Tuesdays.
This is actually the second attempt by Ethiopian Airlines to introduce a freighter service from Oslo to Guangzhou, first slated for launch on September 27, 2018, later postponed till October 11, 2018, and next planned for 2019 while still kept on the desk.
Ethiopian Airlines instead started freighter operations at Oslo Airport in 2020, flying in from Liege and continuing to Seoul, South Korea, before touching down at Addis Abeba, today served with three weekly operations.
Cargo capacity is also offered on Ethiopian Airlines' flights at Oslo Airport as an extension of the Addis Abeba-Stockholm route from March 27, 2017.
