Sep 14, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish manufacturer of de-icing and other GSE equipment Vestergaard has acquired all remaining shares in the Swedish GSE manufacturer Kalmar Motor.
   The two companies entered a strategic partnership in 2017, and cooperation has since developed to comprise also joint sales and service.
   Vestergaard Company and Kalmar Motor will continue as independent companies and brands, while the cooperation between the companies will be further strengthened to position each party better for future growth.  
   In the short term, investments have been made to increase the production capacity in Kalmar Motor, in order to keep up with the growing demand for innovative electrical tractors.
   Established in 1969, Kalmar Motor AB specializes in vehicles for moving aircraft, with the product range including both conventional towbar tractors and towbarless tractors with capacity of handling from regional to wide-body aircraft.
