Sep 22, 2022 (newstodate): Now it's confirmed: In the summer 2023 flights program, Copenhagen Airport will add a second Air Canada destination to its network of direct non-stop flights.
With the launch flight on June 1, 2023, the new route will connect Copenhagen with Montreal offering five weekly rotations, using Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
Air Canada is already providing year-round services between Toronto and Copenhagen, and this route will be served with five weekly flights in summer '23, against earlier daily flights, and using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Air Canada has been offering direct scheduled flights from Toronto to Copenhagen since June 25, 2010, after a decade of seasonal operations.
Earlier handled by SAS Ground Handling, Air Canada is now since May 2022 served by Menzies providing passenger, ramp, cabin cleaning and de-icing services at Copenhagen Airport that has also become one of the first stations to adopt the terms of a Master Services Agreement between Air Canada and Menzies Aviation, streamlining the contractual process.
