Sep 21, 2022 (newstodate): Air Greenland has picked AMOS Airline Edition and AMOSmobile/EXEC for managing its aircraft maintenance.
The carrier concluded that its legacy software was no longer in the position to support today’s airline maintenance requirements and had been looking for fully integrated end-to-end support for all processes for fixed and rotary wing aircraft combined with the capability to support a paperless operation.
Eventually, the choice fell on the maintenance management systems developed and marketed by Swiss AviationSoftware, a 100 percent subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines.
The systems are now under implementation and contrary to the strong trend within the industry, due to its remoteness Air Greenland will not rely on cloud hosting, but will instead run the server on premise.
Air Greenland's fleet comprises nine fixed-wing and 19 rotary-wing aircraft operating a complex combination of scheduled, charter medical and SAR flights
