Aug 03, 2022 (newstodate): Today marks the first operation by a new freighter operator at Denmark's Billund Airport: Virgin Atlantic Cargo.
    Virgin Atlantic Cargo is thus now offering three weekly rotations connecting Billund Airport to its main base at London Heathrow Airport with transfer of cargo shipments to and from destinations in the USA, South Africa and a range of other options.
   Serving Virgin Atlantic Cargo in the Scandinavian markets is WHF as GSSA.
   With the direct freighter service, exporters now have the option to cut days off the total transport time for air cargo shipments to transfer at London Heathrow Airport by avoiding trucking to the UK.
