Aug 03, 2022 (newstodate): The long-haul LCC Norse Atlantic Airways is now close to launching its new direct nonstop transatlantic flights between the UK and the USA.
The first flight from London Gatwick to New York JFK will lift off on August 12, 2022, with Boeing 787-9 aircraft on UK registers as part of a fleet comprising 15 aircraft in service this summer.
After the launch of the New York flights, Norse will add flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, soon after to be followed by the opening of flights from London Gatwick to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Washington.
Targeting also the air cargo market, the carrier has signed Wexco, part of the Kales Airline Services Group, as its UK cargo GSSA, to sell the cargo capacity on the Transatlantic flights from London Gatwick.
