Aug 18, 2022 (newstodate): The Norwegian long haul LCC Norse Atlantic Airways has now opened bookings on its third US-bound route from Berlin Airport.
The carrier will launch flights on December 7, 2022, from Berlin to Fort Lauderdale with three weekly rotations using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Norse opened operations from Berlin only on August 15, 2022, and is now online with daily flights to New York; and only two days later Norse added flights from Berlin to Los Angeles with three weekly rotations.
The US flights are supported by a virtual interline agreement between easyJet, Norwegian and Spirit Airlines, announced in June 2022.
Powered by Dohop, the cooperation between the carriers claims to provide over 600 weekly connections to Norse’s transatlantic services at the key international hubs Oslo, London, Berlin, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Los Angeles.
The partnership with easyJet will provide customers with access to a range of European destinations that connect Norse’s flights from London Gatwick and Berlin to New York JFK, and from Berlin to Los Angeles.
The partnership with Norwegian will allow customers to book flights to domestic, Scandinavian and European destinations with connections onto Norse’s services to New York JFK, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles and Orlando.
Finally, the partnership with Spirit Airlines will provide a new choice for customers looking to travel between Europe and the U.S. as new destinations such as Las Vegas, Dallas, Nashville and Salt Lake City become accessible via Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Los Angeles.
