Aug 22, 2022 (newstodate): Menzies Aviation has announced an expansion into Eastern Europe with a joint venture in Montenegro and Serbia.
   Menzies has thus agreed to acquire 70 percent of Fly Montenegro Ground Handling, Montenegro, and Flystar Aviation Services, Serbia.
   Fly Montenegro Ground Handling provides ground services at Podgorica Airport and Tivat Airport, while Flystar Aviation Services provides ground services at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.
   Building on the airports' existing customer bases, Menzies will focus on increasing the scope of services provided at the three airports, and to attract new customers to its portfolio.
   Founder of both companies, Ana Marojevic is now continuing as  Menzies Aviation General Manager Serbia and Montenegro referring to Miguel Gomez, Menzies Aviation Exec VP–Europe.
