Aug 03, 2022 (newstodate): Icelease is adding one Airbus A321 aircraft to its portfolio in an agreement with Global Crossing Airlines Group.
   The aircraft is to be converted to freighter version by Precision Aircraft Solutions in October 2023, and slated to commence freighter revenue service by April 2024.
   Under the agreement, Icelease will then place the aircraft with GlobalX for an eight years period.
   In May 2022, Icelease also became the launch customer at Boeing's new P2F conversion line at London Gatwick that will perform the P2F on 11 Boeing 737-800 aircraft to be placed with customers of Icelease that in 2021 expanded its cooperation with the independent private US investment firm Corrum Capital.
   Icelease is the aircraft leasing arm of the Icelandair Group, with Kari Karason as CEO.
