Aug 25, 2022 (newstodate): Icelandair has opted for implementation of new IT systems provided by Lufthansa Systems for scheduling, slot management, code-share management, and schedule data exchange.
   The two parties have signed a long-term agreement for Lufthansa Systems to deliver its NetLine/Sched and SchedConnect systems.
   The automation will provide Icelandair with faster information flows and minimized sources of error, while allowing for full control over the complete slot management process at all times.   
   SchedConnect is a multi-tenant system for code-share management and schedule data exchange with a central flight repository, while NetLine is an integrated, modular platform for planning and controlling all business processes in Icelandair’s route network.
