Aug 08, 2022 (newstodate): In the summer 2023 flights program, Copenhagen Airport will add a second Canadian destination to its network of direct non-stop flights.
   The new route, still not officially announced, starting from June 2, 2023, will connect Copenhagen with Montreal with five weekly rotations by Air Canada, using Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
   Air Canada will thus be serving Copenhagen with two direct routes, including also the flights to Toronto that will go year-round.
   In late 2019, the Canadian low-cost carrier Air Transat announced the opening of seasonal flights between Montreal and Copenhagen starting from June 16, till September 21, 2020, operated twice-weekly with Airbus A321neoLR aircraft.
   This, however, was never realized as the Covid-19 then struck the markets.
