Jul 27, 2022 (newstodate): Iran and Russia are increasing their cooperation in civil aviation.
   The two countries have signed an agreement for Iranian companies to supply equipment and maintenance services on Russian aircraft, including opening production of parts and components for Russian aircraft.
   Iran will also offer repair and maintenance work on Russian aircraft at aircraft service centers in Iran.
   The new agreement follows on an MoU inked by the Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia and the head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Iran allowing the number of passenger flights between Russia and Iran to increase to 35 rotations per week.
