Jul 01, 2022 (newstodate): Air China is gradually restoring flights on several international routes suspended during the Corona pandemic and lockdown period.
Among the latest route reopenings are Air China's flights from Beijing to Stockholm Arlanda, starting again from June 19, 2022, with one weekly rotation operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
On the return flight from Sweden to China, the aircraft still transfers via Xian.
Air China suspended services on the route from December 2021.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport was long the only Nordic airport served by a Chinese carrier, with Air China offering daily rotations from Beijing and celebrating its 30th anniversary of unbroken services on the route in 2018.
