Jun 03, 2022 (newstodate): Sweden's Jonkoping Airport is jubilant after record-high loads of cargo handled in May 2022.
   With a total of 279 tonnes of cargo, the airport saw volumes up by 38 percent, y-o-y - and even 12 percent above the best month earlier recorded, September 2020.
   Jonkoping Airport's cargo business builds primarily on FedEx, Time:Matters and DANX connecting the airport with Brussels, Karlsruhe, Oslo, Billund and Helsinki.
   However, adding to the growth in cargo at the airport is also the return from January 31, 2022, by PostNord Sweden that has reinstated a nightly flight on weekdays from Stockholm Arlanda to Jonkoping Airport, further expanded since May 2, 2022, as PostNord now carries mail also on the return flight from Jonkoping to Stockholm Arlanda.
