Jun 22, 2022 (newstodate): Malta-based Airhub Aviation, a subsidiary of the Lithuanian company Getjet Airlines, is building up its Airbus wide-body capacity.
The carrier has now taken delivery of its third Airbus A330 - an Airbus A330neo with only three years in the air, last with Air Senegal on a lease contract with the Portuguese carrier HiFly's subsidiary in Malta.
The aircraft performed its first operation with Airhub Aviation on June 17, 2022, bound for Marseille, France, and with further flights booked from Dakar to New York JFK.
In the fleet of Airhub Aviation are also two Airbus A340-300 aircraft in ZERO LOPA configuration completed by Aviatic MRO at the facilities in Siauliai International Airport, Lithuania.
By summer 2022, Airhub Aviation plans to be operating three more Airbus A340-300, three Airbus A330, and six Boeing 737-800 in the charter and ACMI markets.
With Aleksandr Celiadin as its Chairman, Airhub Aviation is a subsidiary of the Lithuanian company Getjet Airlines that in 2019 became the first Baltic airline to introduce wide-body aircraft in the form of Airbus A330-300 in February 2019.
