Jun 03, 2022 (newstodate): Stockholm Airport is to add a new destination on its monitors in winter 2022: Malta.
   The LCC Ryanair is announcing the launch of flights between Stockholm Airport and Malta International Airport, starting from November 1, 2022, and offering two weekly rotations.
   This will be the first scheduled direct air service between the two markets - and also the only Scandinavian service.
    Ryanair opened its new base at Stockholm Airport from the start of the winter 2021/22 schedule, allocating two aircraft to operate 89 flights per week serving 21 new routes to 15 countries, and in November 2021, Ryanair announced its decision to add two more aircraft at Stockholm by this summer '22 to provide flights to another 12 routes.
