Jun 30, 2022 (newstodate): Madrid has now added the Chinese destination Chongqing on its airport monitors.
   The Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines has launched flights on the route to be served once weekly with Boeing 787 aircraft, marking also the first direct scheduled connection between the two destinations.
   Before the coronavirus pandemic, Finnair was also online with flights from Helsinki to Chongqing from May 9, 2012.
