Jun 28, 2022 (newstodate): In commercial service with the Lithuanian IOSA-certified company GetJet Airlines is now one Boeing 737-800 aircraft adding capacity to the airline.
The aircraft performed its first commercial flight for the carrier on June 25, 2022, and will be followed by a further four aircraft of the type, with two deliveries later this summer and the remaining two slated for arrival by Q4/22.
All five Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be placed on the global ACMI market, and GetJet Airlines has now become the first carrier in the Baltic region with this type.
In the fleet of GetJet Airlines, managed by Ruta Kulvinskaiteare as CEO, are also six Airbus A320 Family and one Airbus A330 aircraft serving customers including Wizz Air, Corendon Airlines, Norwegian, LOT, Finnair, Spice Jet, and others.
