Jun 15, 2022 (newstodate): Finnair is back to Denmark's Billund Airport in summer 2022.
   The carrier will be operating four weekly rotations between Helsinki and Billund starting from June 21 and till August 14, 2022, using Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
   Finnair first launched seasonal flights from Helsinki to Billund on  April 4, 2016, with Embraer E190 aircraft, soon replaced by the introduction of Airbus A319 aircraft, and has since been on/off at the airport in western Denmark.
   In summer 2018, Finnair offered eight weekly rotations between Helsinki and Billund - and in summer 2016 even operating the route with a Superjet 100 aircraft leased from CityJet..
