Jun 10, 2022 (newstodate): Ethiopian Airlines is back at full throttle in the Scandinavian markets.
After suspension of services during the Covid-19 pandemic and the cautious reopening of flights between Addis Abeba and Sweden/Norway, the carrier is now again offering daily flights since June 1, 2022, on the triangular route with Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Ethiopian Airlines has been operating the route Addis Abeba-Stockholm since October 28, 2003, after moving its Scandinavian services to Sweden from Copenhagen Airport, Denmark.
The carrier next extended the route with a further leg between Stockholm and Oslo from March 27, 2017, adding more Norwegian passengers and - not least - cargo shipments of Norwegian seafood to the flight.
