Jun 09, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish carrier DAT is active in Italy's domestic flight business since 2018 - and flying on....
   Operating in Italy under the brand name DAT Volidisicilia with the first flight on July 1, 2018, the carrier is operating PSO flights between Catania, Palermo and Trapani on Sicily and the islands of Lampedusa and Pantelleria.
   The carrier has now obtained an extension to the contract until November 2022, basing up to four ATR aircraft according to seasonal demands and producing more than 6,000 flights per year.
