Jun 27, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jettime has set up a new crewing company at Helsinki in Finland.
The new company started operating on June 1, 2022, with 38 employees comprising both cockpit and cabin crew members.
The "new" Jettime staff will operate the Jettime traffic for TUI Finland as well as traffic from Swedish airports in the country's northern region.
All staff at the new Helsinki Jettime base are former employees with Jettime's predecessor, the defunct airline Jet Time that set up a base in Finland in 2014, primarily to provide flights to Turkey for Finnish tour operators.
Jet Time Finland was however closed down as the airline filed for bankruptcy on July 21, 2020.
Today, Jettime's total roster, including the new Finnish base, counts 340 employees, up from 30 only one year ago, when the industry was still bogged down by the corona pandemic.
