Jun 16, 2022 (newstodate): In its quest to keep the expanding aircraft fleet busy and grow its offerings in the tourism segment when the more profitable business traffic is still low, airBaltic is now announcing its first scheduled flight to an African destination.
Starting from October 31, 2022, airBaltic will be offering scheduled seasonal flights from Riga to Marrakesh, in Morocco.
Flights are scheduled with two weekly rotations using Airbus A220-300 aircraft in the air for 5 hours 30 minutes.
This will thus be the second-longest flight by airBaltic, only surpassed by the carrier's flight to Dubai, requiring 6 hours 45 minutes of flying time.
