Jun 09, 2022 (newstodate): With the first rotation on June 8, 2022, Air Canada is back at Iceland's Keflavik Airport.
The carrier is now offering four weekly flights between Toronto and Keflavik as well as three weekly rotations between Montreal and Keflavik with Boeing 757 aircraft until the end of this summer schedule.
The flights were also planned for summer 2021 - but suspended due to the Covid-19 lockdowns.
With the start on the routes in June 2017, Air Canada became the first Canadian airline - and the only Star Alliance carrier in North America - to fly to Iceland, offering a total of seven weekly flights; four from Toronto and three from Montreal operated by Air Canada's subsidiary Air Canada Rouge.
