May 25, 2022 (newstodate): The Vilnius-based ACMI and charter carrier Avion Express is allocating significant capacity to its long-time customer SunExpress in summer 2022.
   The two parties has signed a lease contract comprising six Airbus A320 Family aircraft to serve the Turkish/German-JV carrier SunExpress from its base at Antalya, Turkey.
   The contract is a damp-lease, with Avion Express pilots in the cockpit and Turkish staff in the cabin.
   The two airlines have been cooperating since 2018 when Avion Express first placed five Airbus A320 aircraft with its Turkish customer at Antalya - an agreement continuing in the following years only suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic.
