May 09, 2022 (newstodate): The Lufthansa Group's Eurowings is to boost its presence at Sweden's Stockholm Airport.
   According to Swedish Radio, the carrier has decided to base five Airbus A320 aircraft and 150 staff at its new base at Stockholm Airport, earlier announcing only three aircraft and 100 staff allocated to the new traffic.
   Eurowings has selected Aviator Airport Alliance for ground handling and de-icing services for its flights from Stockholm to 12 European destinations from March 27, 2022.
   Eurowings will provide flights from Stockholm to Barcelona, Rome, Palma de Mallorca, Nice, Copenhagen, Malaga, Birmingham, Gdansk, Alcudia, Pensacola, Faro, and Berlin.
