May 02, 2022 (newstodate): The first Boeing 737-800 aircraft for conversion is now at Boeing's new P2F conversion line at London Gatwick in 2022.
The aircraft is owned by Icelease, becoming the launch customer for the new conversion center that will perform the P2F on the 11 Boeing 737-800 aircraft to be placed with customers of Icelease that in 2021 expanded its cooperation with the independent private US investment firm Corrum Capital.
This is the first P2F order with Boeing by Icelease, a subsidiary of the Icelandair Group, with Kari Karason as CEO.
