May 24, 2022 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport did see cargo volumes rising in the first four months of this year - to a total of 3,595 tonnes.
This was an increase by 18.8 percent, y-o-y, but prospects are less promising after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Cargo volumes in April 2022 thus dipped by 0.1 percent, y-o-y, to 832 tonnes and with the continued warfare, closure of airspace and the general downturn in the global economy as well as broken supply chains, the negative trend will continue.
