May 30, 2022 (newstodate): Air Canada is now online at Copenhagen Airport - with a new ground handling partner.
Starting from May 2, 2022, the carrier is back on the route between Toronto and Copenhagen, initially with three weekly rotations using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Earlier handled by SAS Ground Handling, Air Canada has instead contracted Menzies to provide passenger, ramp, cabin cleaning and de-icing services at Copenhagen Airport that has also become one of the first stations to adopt the terms of a Master Services Agreement between Air Canada and Menzies Aviation, which streamlines the contractual process.
Air Canada launched its service between Toronto and Copenhagen from June 25, 2010, using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
This service was, however, suspended from spring 2020 due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
