Apr 13, 2022 (newstodate): Turkey is notoriously hesitant to implement the full range of western sanctions on Russia, but is now partly reining in on cargo services to Russia and Belarus.
Turkish Cargo is thus suspending its freighter services to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport as well as to Minsk Airport, having maintained these flights since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
However, Turkish Airlines continues to operate passenger flights between Moscow and Istanbul and accepts cargo on these flights within the framework of the sanctions.
