Apr 11, 2022 (newstodate): From June, Singapore Airlines will cease extending the Copenhagen-route to Rome.
Starting from July 16, 2021, the carrier extended its existing route between Singapore and Copenhagen to comprise onward flights between Copenhagen and Rome, operated three times weekly.
Until November 2019, Singapore Airlines offered five weekly rotations between Singapore and Copenhagen, planning to increase to daily services from January 2, 2020 - but all flights were then suspended from March 2020 as the pandemic struck.
Services on the route were cautiously reopened from June 20, 2020, with one weekly rotation, using Airbus A350-900; from October 20, 2021, the frequency was increased to four and from February 3, 2022, the carrier was back to offering five weekly rotations on the route between Singapore and Copenhagen/Rome.
After June 2022, Singapore Airlines will return with dedicated flights between Singapore and Rome with initially three weekly rotations.
