Apr 04, 2022 (newstodate): Unusual changes in SAS top executive positions within less than one month come on top of the carrier's ongoing fight with unions over its latest new strategy.
   Only on March 23, 2022, SAS announced the decision by its CFO Magnus Ornberg to step down after taking the seat only in September 2020.
   Today, a fresh announcement from SAS reveals the departure of the group's Executive Vice President and CCO since 2019, Karl Sandlund, who is leaving to take up a new challenge outside the company.
   SAS, today with a new CEO Anko van der Werff only since July 2021, is fighting to carry through a new strategy, SAS Forward, that will see the addition of two new production platforms - SAS Link and SAS Connect, perceived as primarily a cost saving effort by unions that are protesting vehemently to the brink of a potential strike later this year.
