Apr 21, 2022 (newstodate): Undaunted by the distortion in the industry caused by Russia's aggression in Ukraine, a Danish entrepreneur is expanding his investment in aviation.
Lars Thursen has thus taken a significant stake in a new UK-based aviation startup JetHustle.com - a company aiming at bridging the gap between commercial and private flying.
The business concept of JetHustle.com is to allow users to compare flight prices like on other travel websites and then takes things up a notch by offering empty seats available on private jets at a comparable price.
The cloud-based travel marketplace uses artificial intelligence and human ingenuity to connect buyers with sellers for private jet seats, as well as discounted seats on all the world’s major commercial airlines.
Mr Thuesen is already a stakeholder in Latvia's airBaltic as well as holding the majority of shares in the Danish charter airline Jettime and the Swedish charter carrier NOVAIR.
