Apr 12, 2022 (newstodate): The Danish transport and logistics provider NTG, Nordic Transport Group has been shopping in the USA to expand the coverage of its Air & Ocean division globally.
   NTG has thus acquired 100 percent of the stake in AGL with 185 employees and HQ in New York as well as an additional eight offices in some of the largest logistics hubs across the US.
   In addition to air and ocean freight services, AGL offers a range of value-added services, including in-house customs house brokerage and third-party inland transportation and warehousing solutions.
   -The acquisition of AGL is a milestone transaction for NTG, and it is a testimony to our ambitions of expanding the Air & Ocean division globally. With this acquisition, we significantly increase our global scale and footprint in the US, says Soren Holck Pape, NTG Air & Ocean CEO since March 1, 2021.
   With 80 percent of the turnover, road and surface transportation is the main business for NTG, but with a number of international offices and subsidiaries air & sea plays a key role as well.
