Apr 21, 2022 (newstodate): Danish provider of GSE, Vestergaard Company is in the frontline when it comes to electric de-icing vehicles.
   The Vestergaard Elephant e-BETA deicer is unique in the GSE industry. After final testing last year, equipment with the latest technology is now in use in a few locations globally, including Stuttgart Airport, while being tested also by Menzies at Oslo Airport.
   In Finland, handling provider Airpro has now placed an order with Vestergaard for four Elephant e-BETA de-icers to be delivered for next winter season, making Airpro the first ground handling company in Finland to offer electric de-icing services.  
   Airpro's order also secures Helsinki Airport a position as the first airport in the Nordic region, and fourth in the world, to operate electric de-icers.
