Mar 22, 2022 (newstodate): Stockholm Arlanda will greet a newcomer in summer 2022: Nile Air.
   Based at Cairo International Airport, the privately-owned carrier will be offering direct non-stop flights between Cairo and Stockholm with the first flight on June 18, 2022.
   The frequency has been set at two weekly rotations using Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
   Nile Air will be alone in providing direct connection between the two destinations; Egypt Air served the route till 1999, resuming traffic again with a once-weekly Airbus A320 service from October 1, 2006, but later pulled out again.
