Mar 01, 2022 (newstodate): The Slovenian carrier Amelia International is now an active provider in the air cargo industry.
   On February 10, 2022, the carrier's first commercial operation with an ATR 72 converted freighter aircraft delivered on January 6, 2022, was brokered by the ECS Group GSSA from Gyor, Hungary, to Bremen, Germany, carrying 7.5 tonnes of automotive parts.
   The aircraft offering a range of 1,000 nm and a load capacity of up to 8,2 tonnes is now placed on the market for ad-hoc, charter and project missions.
  Set up in 2008 as a line and base maintenance organization for helicopters, Amelia International in 2012 became an operator with first flights in Africa.
   In the fleet today are 13 aircraft, comprising Embraer 135/145, ATR42/72 and F900EX aircraft.
